Do i need to be certified as a healthcare recruiters?

The answer to that is No. Lots of hospitals and clients do not need certifications in recruiting and the most important to them is to bring in quality and valuable candidates.

Theirs certifications available out there, but if you are targeting a specific company, its probably good business sense to ask them what is the requirements for you in order for them to give you a job order and ask them later on if they require certifications.

Some staffing and recruiting associations have certifications requirements for you to join, but most of these associations are specialize to their niche market.

The most important aspects of your business is to make sure your candidates are certified and meets the requirements of your clients.

Majority, most likely all healthcare professionals have some sort of certifications whether its a licensure or some certifications of their skills. Governinng bodies usually regulates the certifications of healthcare professionals such as Registered Nursing Licensure Board, Dental Board, Phamacy Board, Medical Board. It is imperative that your candidates have all the necessasry certifications, licensure, and skills before you set them up for interview.

Their are two certifying board out there that we are aware of: NAPS which stands for National Associations of Personnel Services and ASA which stands for American Staffing Associations. NAPS has a certifications for a Physician Recruiting Consultant (PRC).

Again before obtaining a job order from your clients, it is wise to ask what type ar the requirements are needed before you start recruiting for clients.

What is Healthcare Recruiter Certifications?

Professional certifications is a designation earned by a professional person such as recruiter to assure qualifications to perform a job or task. Certifications are given by Professional society, associations, or schools. Most of them are generally renewed on an annual basis.

Most certifications program are given, sponsored, or affiliated with professionals associations and trade organizations. Look for your particular trade and their is usually an organizations that gives out certifications by meeting the requirements of that particular organizations.

The purpose of associations giving out certifications is to raise the standards. The growth of certifications is the respond of changing employment market. Certifications are independent from the business definitions of job descriptions.

Certifications from professional society or educational institute or the goverment is a demonstration of your ability or knowledge of certain skills to perform such or job. Licensure and certifications goes hand and hand.

The most common type of certifications is professional type of certifications and licensure.
